All ladies should learn both. All men should learn both. Ladies and Gents should both learn the last selection.
These selections have vocally demanding sections. Health and safety always come first - do not attempt to stretch your voice beyond its current ability - many roles are available based on the overall selection. In other words, if one part is too high for you, there are roles that do not sing as high. 

Do your healthiest best - show the character and energy!
