Thanks for considering volunteering! Students, teachers, staff, parents, alumni, and community members are most welcome to volunteer. We need help and skills in all areas - costumes, construction, painting, designing, publicity, hospitality, etc. We welcome any and all amounts of time you are able to give.

Being a part of putting on a show is a terrific way to give your time and talents to provide our students the best experiences in their performances. The theatre is arguably the ultimate team sport, in which so many moving pieces (literally and figuratively) have to work together in concert, and be ready by showtime!

 

There are certain laws in place to protect our children. All volunteers who are not students, or don't have clearances, are legally required to obtain certain clearances before they can work with or around children. There are no exceptions to this law; fortunately, the process is straightforward and free of charge.

There are three classifications of volunteers as described by Human Resources. If you are unsure which tier you fall into, please contact Human Resources, or simply assume you will be in contact with children, and therefore are considered a Tier One volunteer.

​

Be sure to tell Human Resources you are volunteering for Theatre at RHS. Once again, no volunteer is allowed to work in the building until they have fulfilled all the requirements and clearances of the Human Resources department of the Radnor Township School District.
