- Who can participate in the RHS Spring Musical? All students in grades 9-12 who attend Radnor High School can participate in the cast, crew, orchestra, internships of the Spring Musical.

 - What is the time commitment? The production schedule is developed based on student conflicts. Students are not called “all of the time” for rehearsals. Students are only absolutely required to attend performances and all events within ten days prior to the first performance. There is a ton of flexibility and understanding with conflicts - as long as we know ahead of time - if you have to miss. Cast -  Students with larger roles will obviously be scheduled to attend more rehearsals.
- When does it start?  - GENERAL MEETING and AUDITIONS are in December, during the second week after Thanksgiving. Check the date above on our website.

- I just want to be in the ensemble - do I have to audition? Students do not have to audition to be in the Musical! You're in! Attend the General Meeting and complete the Quick Registration! Any student who wishes to be considered for any small or large speaking and/or singing part is required to complete a singing audition.
- I cant find the singing audition materials? In the interest of equity, the singing passage will be announced and taught during the General Meeting to everyone, all at once. The Dance Audition may or may not have video posted, it is up to the choreographer. The Quick Registration page will have

- I cant make it to the General Meeting? Students unable to be present for the General Meeting must complete the Quick Registration.

- I cant make it to the General Meeting AND I want to audition? - Students who wish to be audition but absolutely cannot make the General Meeting must email Mr. Dietzler before the General Meeting to let him know to expect your video. The Singing Audition selection will be presented during the General Meeting. Missing students must send Mr. Dietzler a singing video audition BEFORE NOON ON THE FOLLOWING DAY. Video auditions are accepted, but it is highly recommended to make every effort to attend the General Meeting and Audition in person.

 - Is there an Activity Fee? Yes. The fee amount is based on which group you are joining - Cast, Crew, Orchestra, Intern. The fee for Cast members will be higher due to costumes, makeup, hair, libretto costs.

- I am facing financial challenge right now. Is there any way I can still participate? Absolutely!! There is financial support available for students facing financial challenge. Send an email to the Principal and your Counselor for more information.

 - I want to discuss my audition, and/or my assignment /role in the show. Can I talk about it? Certainly. We encourage this. Cast members and Interns can speak with Mr. Dietzler; crew members can talk to Baylee and Mr. Oskin; orchestra pit members can speak with Mrs. McDonnell. Any sharing of anything negative on digital forums of any kind, whether or not it is “private” in intention, is grounds for dismissal and discipline according to the RHS Student Handbook. There is zero tolerance for any negative posting or sharing whatsoever; professionalism & temperance are encouraged.
